MV Digital is looking for a Desktop Support Administrator to contribute to the operation and development of a structured IT environment. You will work on the build and run of end-user devices in a diverse user environment, as part of a team operating in pairs.

Context

As part of a digital transformation programme led by a major organisation, you will join a team responsible for an end-user computing environment comprising desktop computers, laptops and tablets.

Your role

You will contribute to the day-to-day administration, maintenance and development of the Desktop Environment. Working alongside another administrator, you will take part in both routine operations and infrastructure improvement projects.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the IT operations of the Desktop Environment department.
  • Maintain and update core, business and operating software.
  • Optimise IT resources and contribute to the development of the information system.
  • Participate in laptop stock management.
  • Create master images and task sequences for users.
  • Create and monitor application packages.
  • Deploy security patches for existing applications.
  • Provide user support.
  • Write operational procedures.
  • Carry out system analyses, studies and investigations that may result in tickets or changes.
  • Contribute to the build and run of the IT infrastructure as part of a two-person team.

Your profile

EDUCATION

Higher education qualification with experience.

EXPERIENCE

At least 3 years’ experience in Desktop Environment administration or in a comparable IT environment.
