Functional Tester

The role.
MV Digital is seeking a Functional Tester to contribute to the validation and quality assurance of tools developed as part of a digital transformation programme. You will be involved in test preparation and execution, the automation of regression scenarios and defect monitoring, working closely with the project and development teams.

As part of a strategic digital transformation programme led by a major organisation, you will join a team committed to implementing and evolving digital services.
Your role
You will act as the functional quality lead for the assigned scope. You will work collaboratively with functional analysts, project managers and development teams, while providing regular reporting to management.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the review of specifications.
- Write test plans in accordance with the defined regulations and standards.
- Prepare and execute manual test campaigns.
- Design automated regression tests.
- Log, qualify and monitor defects through to resolution.
- Define the test data management strategy and create the associated data sets.
- Provide monitoring indicators to the project manager.
- Provide advisory support to functional analysts and project managers.
- Collaborate daily with the development teams.
- Provide regular reporting to management.
Your profile
National diploma representing a minimum of five years of higher education, or a recognised equivalent qualification, in the field of information systems.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in functional testing and software validation.

- Ability to coordinate communication between functional, project and technical teams
- Analytical mindset and ability to structure quality monitoring
